2019 Great Friends of Schools Breakfast

The South Bend Education Foundation hosts our Great Friends of School Breakfast every year. It is a chance to come together and support the students attending South Bend Schools. We will award 25 Teacher and Principal Grants totaling over $25,000. Our guest speaker this year is Jamie Vollmer, author of Schools Cannot Do It Alone, Building Public Support for America's Public Schools. His message (see video below) will speak directly to business leaders throughout the region on why their investment in public education will have a positive effect on their short and long-term success as a business. We will also hear an update of the state of South Bend Schools from incoming Superintendent, Dr. Todd Cummings.
